HELP FIND MISSING KIDS
"We support the work of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children"

As we used to say as children growing up, rain rain go away and come again another day!! We sure have had it here in JV, with many people out of their homes because of high water and flooding, and more rain on the way. Hopefully, we'll get recognized as a disaster area and some federal funds will be available to the residents who did not have flood insurance. The community has really come together and been helping one another and the fire, police and public works were really great during and after the floods.

The city council and City Manager Dale Brown are working a plan to annex the 2 Municipal utility districts that lie west of the city now. This would include a lot of  the apartments that are to the west of us. These are in the first MUD district. The second MUD is mainly the car dealerships west of Jones on the 290 feeder westbound and Sam's Club.
