Why do we have children going to schools with guns. Why don't the schools have better security than a few roving constables. Where are the metal detectors, see through back packs etc. I want to believe that we're still the same high quality education providor as ever, and that we are different than Houston. Well, it is time to wake up and smell the roses. We need to put egos, politics, and denial aside and be concerned that schools become a battleground more and more each day. Perhaps conflict resolution classes and labs would be helpful. We certainly do not need guns in school. We also need to make sure that we protect our rights to own and bear arms, and teach our children the rights and responsibilities that these rights bring on us all.
