Sorry folks, nothing against apartments or even the ones on Jones road. Hell, I even lived in them 13 years ago for a while. I do have a problem with annexing them into JV though. Mainly -- WHY? We dont need the money that it would initially bring. We certainly do not need our police over there all the time instead of patrolling our streets. We do not need the city population diluted with people who are at a transient period in their lives, not yet putting down roots and contributing to our community. Our property values will fall, as values have fallen wherever apartments go up. We do not need to add to the devaluation of our property.
